The East Side

We ventured to the east side of the island today. It took us an hour to get there from our house because the speed limit is 25mph throughout the entire island. We don't have a horn on our lovely ford escape, which is probably a good thing! I want to honk it all the time! Haha! But its actually nice because we get to see the beautiful island in all its glory. I was completely blown away (again) by all the beauty this island gives me. We pull up to a spot where Jameson wants to surf. It's called, Alao. The beach is nothing short of remarkable. White sand and turquoise water that is warm and inviting! I brought a towel to lay out on but to my dismay, there's a church right across the street. No bikini for me! It's very disrespectful to show so much skin, especially in front of a church. So Jameson backed our ford escape onto the grass and popped the trunk. We folded the seats back and I made a nice little bed for me to lay on, wearing my bikini with a lava lava tied like a dress. I was safe in my bikini as long as I was in the car! lol. I watched him surf and read a book until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I took the best nap in my life (well, top 5 for sure). ;) I couldn't believe that the beach was empty! No one lays out around here or spends time basking in the sun. They are missing out! Check out these glorious pics!
