ASCC Graduation 2013!
I was so happy that I was here for this! Jameson's students graduated today! We were so bummed that Jameson didn't have his original cap and gown from SDSU. He left it in the states (we hope! It might have been lost in the move!). He borrowed a cap and gown from the college and I wasn't envious of his attire what so ever! It was sooo HOT! Not a lot of wind today, just the scorching heat pulsing on your skin. Luckily, the ceremony was in the gymnasium. The sun couldn't find us in there but the humidity sure did. Everyone was fanning themselves with fans they brought from home. Another note to self: buy a fan! Of course they weren't the electrical ones but the hand held fans. I felt so sorry for Jameson. He was stuck on stage wearing that gown. He later told me he had to meditate to keep cool. Haha! Poor guy! I was sitting by myself in the back. The ceremony was about an hour until they started announcing names over the loud speaker. Now that was an experience!! Samoan names are sooo long. Literally 20 or more letters. I would have butchered all those names for sure. Haha! It was so inspiring watching Jameson up there with all the faculty. I've never been so proud of him. He's worked so hard to get to where he's at. I know because I've been by his side through his academic journey. It was a long, challenging road but look at him now. I'm such a proud pre-wife! I love you Jamie.
