Oh yeah, I'm back in school again!!! I've decided that I'm going to obtain my BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)! This requires a Masters degree in psychology or related fields, 8 mandatory BCBA sequence courses, 1500 supervised hours just to be eligible to sit for the exam. Then you have to PASS the exam, then you become a Board Cert Behavior Analyst. BCBA is the black belt of all behaviorists! It's only appropriate that I move towards this goal for my career as a behaviorist. So I've decided to take the sequence courses online. Wish me luck!
After listening to 20 minutes of orientation, we decided we wanted to "have an adventure". We agreed we would go to Aunu'u Island to relax on the beach while the boys surfed. A win win as Jameson would call it. He gets to surf, I get to relax on the beach!! SOLD! ;) We rally the troops and make the 1 hour trip to the docks! I got to ride in the back of the truck. One of my most favorite things to do in American Samoa! Sit in the back of truck with the wind in my hair, watching the most glorious scenery I've ever seen in my life. Once at the docks, we pay the $2 ferry ride to Aunu'u. It was an absolute perfect day to lay on the beach! Sun was out, the grey clouds were tucked away. The boys were happy because the waves looked tasty. Everyone was in such a great mood. We pulled out our chairs and lava lavas and set up shop. I laid on that beach for a good 3 hours. Only to get up a few times to stretch and look for sea shells. We even saw a SHARK! in the water, clear as day! It was a black tipped reef shark swimming carelessly in the shallows. So cool!! As I sat, lounging under the cool shade I thought, "how lazy are you! You should be up doin things!" I quickly snapped myself out of it. What "should" I be doing!?? I should be relaxing!! Enjoying my life! Enjoying the perks of this paradise I call home. So that's exactly what I did. Enjoyed my life. Enjoyed my home. ❤❤
On our way to the dock!
