We arrive at the church only to see TV camera men and everyone very dressed up. (I'm talkin heels!! In Samoa!!) Uh oh, what did I get myself into?? And I hardly even practiced! Haha! To top it off, the guy makes an announcement that he can't start the show bc he's waiting for the First Lady and the Lt. Governor of American Samoa to show up first. WHAAAAT. Whoa, I really didn't expect all this. I instantly became extremely nervous! To make matters even more unexpected, I was the OLDEST performer!! Everyone was around the ages of 6-12. Hahaha! Wow. There was nothing I could do. I had to shake the nerves! Luckily my friends came which made me feel better. I played 2 piano pieces, my Chopin and a waltz. Thankfully, I didn't mess up! What a relief. Well at least I get to look at these pics in 20 years from now and say, hey! this is that one time I was on live TV playing piano with a bunch of kids in front of the First Lady an Lt. Governor of AmSm! Check that off the bucket list.

Dancing Fingers Piano Recital
So a few weeks back Jameson said he ran into someone at ASCC who was inquiring about someone that can "play the piano". Jameson jokingly said that I can play, not thinking anything would come of it. He gave the guy my email and we started talking about a piano recital at a church. I thought, Hey, why not?? When is the next time I'll be able to do something like this? So I agreed and a few weeks later..completely forgot about it. Haha! The guy emails me to remind me just days before the recital. Not thinking much of it, I practice the day before and call it a day.
