Larsons

My favorite beach of all time is called Larsons in a village called Vaitogi. It's a trek to get there! First off, you have to have a reliable SUV/truck. There's no way a car will make it over the insane unpaved, rocky, bumpy road! It feels like you're in one of those 3D rides at Disneyland. You're literally bouncing all over the seats. Thank god our friend Kristine drove her Jeep! Lord knows our car wouldn't make it! We drive the jeep as far as we can, then park it at a locals house. Since its their land, you need to ask permission. Usually, you can offer them something like food or gifts. Today, we gave them $5 and that did the trick. We hiked for about 15-20 mins through brush and mud. The trail is pretty easy, most of us were in slippas. All the sudden, you hear this roar of ocean and waves. My heart starts to race even though I've seen this view before. The anticipation of its beauty is about to unleash itself on me. I walk a few more steps and can't believe what I'm seeing. Absolute perfection. White sand, gorgeous greenery, tall palm trees, black lava rocks, crystal blue water! It was amazing!!! Truly magical. 💙💙
