Happy Valentines Day!
I love teaching at my school. It's so laid back. I never feel any pressure or stress from my co workers or the principal. I come and go as I please and follow whatever guideline I like. Since this is the first time PHS has had a writing course as an elective, I pretty much get to make up whatever I want. I thought this week, we would do: College Week! I want these kids pumped for their future and get their minds going on what they want to do out of high school. So I thought I would have Jameson come in as a guest speaker and talk to my kids about his experiences with college, and how it led him to his career as ASCC Marine Science Coordinator. It was so awesome to have Jameson in my class! I have never heard him lecture in person, let alone my own students. I introduced him as a Professor, NOT as my fiancé. I didn't want the kids to lose their focus, I mean, we are dealing with high school students here. Lol. Jameson was so confident when he spoke. He didn't miss a beat. He was clear, concise, and captivating! My kids loved him! I really think he struck a chord with them. They seemed uplifted and excited about the idea of college. It was right at that moment when I realized how inspiring and wonderful this man was. This person in my life who I'm madly in love with. A person who inspires and helps others see their potential in their future. I couldn't be more in love with him. My amazing life partner and future husband. Valentines Day couldn't be more perfect this year. Just me, the love of my life, our baby kitty, and Samoa. <3
