Mr. & Mrs!

WOW! I can't even believe the month of January came and went as fast as it did. Jameson and I have literally been non-stop for the entire month of January. Between Jameson's parents visiting us for 2 weeks to traveling straight to Hawaii for the wedding, and then having our best friends Gina and Anthony come back to Samoa with us for a week... We have had an overwhelming amount of emotions to say the least!! I absolutely loved Jameson's parents coming here. It was so awesome to see them experience our world. Jameson dad was so stoked on all the wildlife and raw island living. He knew all the names of the animals and plants. haha! It was a breath of fresh air to have Jackie here too. She really cracked the whip on the massive amounts of errands we had to run for the wedding.

GAHHH.. "THE WEDDING". That's all I've been thinking about for the past year. It was surreal to think that I was actually counting down the days. It didn't feel real until we actually stepped foot in Kona. Ahhh Sweet Kona. <3. The big island is so raw and country. Unlike the hustle and bustle of Oahu, the big island is much more slow pace. Our villa was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Couldn't have been more perfect. We had 17 of our best friends and their dates stay in the villa, comfortably! That's how big it was! haha. One by one, our best friends trickled in. Wave after wave of hugs and reminiscing. I couldn't believe how many people came for our wedding! It was simply incredible. An overwhelming amount of Love. Pure love!

Everyone keeps asking me how the wedding was. I have no words but: Absolutely Perfect. You can ask anyone that was there. They will tell you how effortless and magical it was! Our ceremony was done by Jameson's cousin, Kailynn. She couldn't have been a more perfect person! I have her to thank for starting off the wedding just right. A perfect blend of funny, light, easy, yet incredibly meaningful. She told me that it was so easy to write our wedding ceremony because of us. I cry just thinking about it! After the ceremony, the party immediately started. We had kegs of Kona Brewing Co. wine, and bottles of Jameson at every table. :) After that, we had the hula show which included special performances by my mother, the Newtson ladies, and myself! We kept it real with local food prepared by a traditional hawaiian imu done by Jameson's family. Jameson's brothers and my sister gave probably the most hilarious wedding toasts I have ever heard! (So glad thats on film). After that, we watched the most glorious sunset over the waters edge and danced into the night.

My real life fairy tale. What's so funny is that in true fairy tale fashion, I lost ONE of my wedding sandals by the end of the night. hahaha! I honest to god, could not find my slippa for the life of me. I grabbed my Prince and hobbled next door to my villa with only one slippa. The most perfect ending to the best day of my entire life. <3 Cheers to the rest of our life as Mr. and Mrs. Newtson!
