Hello Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! :) Except this isn't your usual Christmas. There is no winter wonderland and Santa is wearing a lava lava with no shirt. Haha! It's incredibly hot in December and January in Samoa. This is their "summer". Not like the seasons ever really change. It's about a steady 85 degrees everyday with 90% humidity! Last year, I arrived in Samoa on December 2. When I arrived at my new home, Jameson had this little Xmas tree set up for me! I took off my lei that he gave me at the airport and put it on the tree. 1 year later, we take out our little tree and the Lei is still on there!!! Haha! I don't know whether its special or disgusting bc its so old. It doesn't smell or anything so we decided to leave it on there. Sentimental value. ;) I would say this would be another holiday without the family but as it turns out, Jackie Newtson is coming to visit the day after Christmas!!! I am absolutely thrilled!!! Spending the holidays with my incredible mother in law. I absolutely adore her! A Christmas I'll never forget. Put your Jackie boots away and pack lots of slippas, fans, and sunscreen! Something tells me you won't forget this Christmas either, Jackie!! :) hehe
