It's been a while..

I've been sooo busy these past few weeks! For one, I went HOME for the first time in 10 months! It was so refreshing to see old faces. I felt so incredibly busy though! Everyone wanted to see me and I had such limited time. The hardest part is that everyone works during the week so the only real time to see anyone is after hours. I was lucky enough to get my invitations done as well as see all my family and friends annnnnd attend my high school reunion which was amazing. I couldn't believe how strange it was to be back. I kept telling everyone that it felt as though I have been speaking another language for 10 months and now have to switch over to my native tongue. Lol. I recognized everything but it felt foreign at first. For one, everyone drives SO FAST in the states!! In Samoa, the top speed limit is 25mph. Needless to say, driving 80mph on the freeway was quite a frightening experience!! As the days past, everything felt so normal. The grocery stores were refreshing as well! I couldn't believe the fresh produce!! In Samoa, the produce is typical a bit moldy from the humidity and also from traveling thousands of miles away. We should feel so lucky to be so fortunate to live in such a flourishing country like the US. I get it now. I see it. I am so grateful to be an American!

Here are some pics from my trip.
Wowwwwww! Avocados!
You have no idea how deliciously amazing this is:
I miss my family!
