Science!

Jameson and I have been nerding out these past few weeks about science! Jameson has been especially keen on science since Quest! Quest stands for: Quantitative Underwater Ecological Surveying Techniques. Jamie and his students camp for 1 week straight at the Faga'alu boy scout camp doing underwater research and projects all day. He goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up at 6am to do it all over again... for a week!! I honestly couldn't. My brain would hurt after day 1 learning about all those underwater species. You really have to just love the water and appreciate the science to get through Quest. Luckily, Jameson had no problems here! I went to visit him one day and took pictures. The students were so welcoming and happy to see me. They also love Jameson which is so nice to see. "Mr. Jameson! Mr. Jameson! Can you help us??" haha. I crack up every time. At the end of week, the students get a certificate of completion which is highly regarded in the marine science world. It's a great experience to put on your resume to further their college education and build capacity amongst the community. LOVE everything about this! So glad that Jameson made it through the week. He was dead tired when he got home. He took a shower. Laid in bed. Passed Out. Didn't wake up for a few hours, and was still tired after that! He got one day's rest, and had to get up the next morning and teach Marine Science again with no breaks. (Quest happens during spring break, so Jameson didn't receive a spring break like the other teachers) Poor professor. I let him sleep it off. He handled the rest of the week like a champ! Hard work definitely pays off. Once again, I'm a proud pre-wifey!

Quest Camp!

The helpful professor!
