Nui <3

I couldn't help myself. When our friend Amy spread the news that she found 2 baby kittens in need for a home, I knew I had to at least "see if the kitties were ok." I knew all along that I would cave and take one home!! That's precisely what happened. Amy gave me a box, taped it up, and off I went to buy food and litter. I knew once I came home, I would have to face Jameson. Yikes!! He specifically told me that I'm not allowed to have a cat.. "absolutely not" were his exact words. I told him I went to get groceries (code word for: pick up the kitten). Lol. I tried to be slick when I came home, as I unloaded all the groceries and casually walked in with a box. I'm not as slick as I thought because he knew exactly what was in that box! Haha! After a heated 30 mins or so, I got him to calm down by promising him if it doesn't work out, we will give her to our neighbor Brenda who is the resident Vet on island. Perfect plan! He calmed down and actually started playing with her. A few days pass, and he's hooked! YES!!! My plan has worked! The kitten follows him everywhere. She sleeps on him every chance she can get! And I know he secretly loves it!! ;) We decided to name her Nui, short for Nu'uuli, which is the village we live in on Coconut point. Nui loves her new home! Brenda was so kind to come over and give her some meds and Advantage, a flea repellent. Thank you Brenda! My plan is to bring her back to the states! Hopefully, she will survive the heat and the wild dogs outside. I know she will though. She is a Samoan cat, strong and fearless! ;)

Nui

He loves her!!

Haha! She's always making this face. Constantly meowing!
